The MSIA luncheon meeting in Kansas City is scheduled for Friday, December 8, 2017.   The featured speaker will be Leslie Michaud, MD.

Dr. Michaud's presentation is entitled:

"Biologic Treatments For Orthopedic Conditions"

Biologics is the use of the patient's own stem cells and platelet-rich plasma.  Dr. Michaud will discuss the use of biologics in the treatment of orthopedic conditions.

Dr. Michaud attended medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her internship and residency in family medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She returned for fellowship training in primary care sports medicine at the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas from which she graduated in 2013.  Prior to opening Motus Biologics and Sports Medicine, Dr. Michaud practiced for 3 years at DFP Orthopedics and served as the team physician for the 2015 Class 6 state championship high school football team, the Blue Springs South Jaguars.

Dr. Michaud received training with Bluetail Medical Group, the foremost experts in regenerative medicine. She is passionate about providing her knowledge and expertise in nonsurgical orthobiologic treatments to patients.
